About me…

Hey, I am Vega!

I was born and raised in a small town in the middle of wheat fields in Salamanca, Spain, where I spent my childhood exploring nature, doing crafts and baking with my brother, and spending time with my grandparents. However, as I started traveling and moving around Spain, I discovered the beauty of the world and haven't stopped exploring since.

From an early age, I've been independent and a rebel, always questioning the world around me and dreaming of a better society. That's why I studied education with the goal of making a positive change in a system I didn't believe in. Now, I've seen that change can be a reality and I continue to learn every day how to make it happen.

Besides education, I am deeply inspired by nature and exploration. I enjoy outdoor sports such as hiking, camping, climbing, surfing, and kayaking, and I often find that some of my best ideas and reflections come when I am outside, moving and reconnecting with the natural world. I also have a campervan, Frida, which represents many of the values I try to live by: simplicity, freedom, curiosity, adventure, and connection.

Over the years, my curiosity has also led me to explore different areas of personal growth and self-awareness. I have developed a strong interest in understanding how people learn, grow, and develop confidence in themselves. This has brought me closer to fields such as neuroscience, emotional development, and wellbeing, which have deeply influenced both my personal journey and the way I approach learning and education.

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking new recipes, learning about a wide range of topics, and embracing a simple and intentional lifestyle. I am endlessly curious about the world and the people in it, and I believe that curiosity, reflection, and meaningful experiences are at the heart of both personal growth and learning.
